1. Data controller

Villas Ahal · Naturist Hotel, at Av. Las Palmas, Manzana 2, Lote 1 y 2, Chemuyil, C.P. 77774, Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your personal data, under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.

2. Personal data we collect

For the purposes described in this notice we may collect:

  • Identification data: full name and, where applicable, official ID at check-in.
  • Contact data: email address, telephone and WhatsApp number.
  • Booking data: arrival and departure dates, type of villa, number of guests and any preferences you share with us.
  • Browsing data: anonymous technical information about your visit, if analytics tools are enabled.

We do not collect sensitive personal data and we will never ask for your banking details through this website. Payments, where they apply, are processed through external payment platforms with their own privacy policies.

3. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes (necessary for our relationship with you):

  • Handling your booking request and confirming availability.
  • Managing your stay, your arrival and your time with us.
  • Answering questions sent by form, email or WhatsApp.
  • Meeting tax and guest registration obligations required by applicable law.
  • Verifying that you are over 18, a condition of entry to the hotel.

Secondary purposes (you may opt out without affecting your booking):

  • Sending offers, news or seasonal availability.
  • Inviting you to leave a review after your stay.

If you would rather your data was not used for the secondary purposes, you can tell us at any time by writing to our contact address.

4. Data transfers

We do not sell or trade your personal data. We may share it only with providers necessary to deliver the service — booking platforms, payment processors and messaging services — and with the competent authorities where legally required.

5. ARCO rights

You have the right to Access your data, to Rectify it where it is inaccurate, to Cancel it where you consider it is no longer required, and to Object to its use for specific purposes. You may also withdraw your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, send a request to hotelahaltulum@gmail.com stating your full name, a means of contact, a clear description of your request and a document proving your identity. We will respond within a maximum of 20 working days.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described and for the tax and administrative retention periods required by Mexican law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses browser local storage for a single functional purpose: to remember for 30 days that you confirmed you are over 18, so we do not show you the check on every visit. You can clear it from your browser settings at any time.

Should analytics or advertising tools be added in future, this notice will be updated and you will be informed through a consent mechanism.

8. Adult content

Villas Ahal is a naturist hotel open exclusively to people over 18. The site includes an age verification step on entry. No minors stay at the property under any circumstances.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its last updated date.
